Mining industry Mining chemical industry

Mining chemical industry is a branch of mining industry; it is involved into mining and primary processing of mining chemicals such as phosphate ore, potassium salts as well as boron, arsenic and barium ore, natural sodium sulfate, sodium chloride, iodine, bromine, and other substances.

The main enterprises of mining chemical industries are production associations, the including mines (careers) and factories on enrichment and processing of mining chemical raw materials.

In Russia, such production is concentrated in many regions, but the highest density of it is in the Urals. Rich bowels by mining raw materials allow Russia to be one of the world's largest exporters of such goods.

To the agriculture industry the most important natural minerals are potassium salts, apatite, phosphates and derivatives of ammonia.
